We are very active in all four categories of mens, ladies, seniors and juniors who all have a full playing calendar of club competitions, inter-club competitions and friendly matches.

We prefer to operate a system where tee times need not be booked so members can turn up to play and be virtually assured of finding a game. Mike Ridge our PGA Pro can always advise of the times that the various roll-up groups go off during the week and weekend and so introduce new members for a game with a friendly group. By limiting the number of playing members we enjoy excellent access to our superbly conditioned and challenging course. Being an easy walking and well drained course, it affords members little restriction on play throughout the year and therefore full benefit of their playing privileges.

In addition to our full and varied social calendar, the clubhouse is also available for members to host private functions such as special birthdays and anniversaries. During the winter period our chef Jonathan Lewis treats us to the full range of his culinary skills by presenting speciality food evenings where we experience the finest of dining in an informal atmosphere. Food from the varied blackboard and drinks from the bar are available during the day and till early evening which is particularly popular following those quick 9 holes before dusk. Or if it is just a cup of coffee and a read of the papers or a game of cards with friends, there is always a warm welcome in the Club.

Being a traditional members club, we the members run the club through the elected committee who plan both the yearly events and the long term strategies. Leighton Walker the General Manager and his small team of professional staff oversee the day to day management and facilitate delivery of the various events. Our culture of openness and accountability means that member representation is foremost and that all decisions are made with the long term viability of the Club at their core. By operating with this small group of professionals and a large group of member elected volunteers, we aim to provide what the members want at a very competitive price. With subscription levels amongst the lowest in Oxfordshire, this represents outstanding value for all the benefits of such a superb facility.
