Burford Golf Club have decided to implement Ready Golf from the 2018 playing season in all club competitions, opens and society events. It should also be used in friendly games and matches but is not appropriate in matchplay competitions.

We support the Ready Golf initiative because it is designed to promote a faster pace of play and make the game more enjoyable. The initiative can reduce a four-ball round by as much as 30 minutes by encouraging golfers to be ready to play, even when it is not their honour.
Remember…Ready Golf does not mean ‘play when you are ready’ it means ‘being ready to play’ – even if it’s not your honour.

Watch Andrew Coltart and John E Morgan in this short video as they illustrate some of the ideas.
