In normal circumstances Burford warmly welcomes visitors to the Club and will accommodate individuals or groups wherever possible. Having re-opened on 2nd December under Government restrictions a decision has been taken to limit bookings to Members and their guests only at this time. We are sorry that we cannot support Visitors, many of which are regular to the Club, although do hope you will understand our decision to prioritise Members who have lost periods to play having paid an annual fee. We will monitor the course usage and will open up visitor tee times should there be an opportunity to do so. If you wish to make an enquiry please call the Club on 01993 822583 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Although we usually operate on a roll up basis, currently a tee booking system is in place for members and visitors to meet COVID regulations. When we re-open Visitors times, these will only be considered in a booking window 2 days before the day of play. If you are visiting the area and need to make advanced arrangements please do call us and we will try to accommodate your date. Visitor times are generally available most days, including weekends, from late morning.
Our beautiful parkland course celebrates its’ 85th anniversary in 2021 and is an excellent test of golf in a stunning setting. The course is very well-draining and offers a quality golf experience in winter as well as during the summertime.
The Pro Shop operate the booking system for our Buggy Hire but we only operate a small fleet so it would be best to book your buggy well in advance of your round. Should you wish to book a Buggy/electric trolley for your round please contact the Pro Shop on 01993 822583 or email email@example.com.
Visitors Rates from £26.00
To complement the golfing experience, the clubhouse provides the comfortable and hospitable surroundings that golfers seek. Our cuisine is imaginative and thoughtfully prepared and is offered throughout the day. In addition, our well-stocked Bar is a haven for those who wish to gather to recount the details of their rounds.
We ask that visitors respect our dress code and, although we do not ask for proof of handicap, we expect them to play to an adequate standard and that they understand both the Rules of Golf and the etiquette of the game. Our clubhouse opening times can be found here.
