We are delighted to welcome junior golfers of any age.
Whether you are new to the game or have experience playing at another course we will make you feel very welcome and a part of Burford Golf Club. Our PGA Professionals are here to help develop your game in a fun environment.
To help juniors progress with their golf we have set up a shorter course (Blue Tee Course). This enables the younger, less experienced golfers to play alongside their peers and parents on the same golf course and we regularly play 6 or 9 hole competitions from the Blue Tees. Once a child has progressed to a Blue Tee handicap of 20 or better they can make the move onto the full length course.
For the more experienced junior golfer we run a full calendar of junior trophy competitions throughout the year and once a junior has a WHS handicap index they may also play in the adult competitions.

It also provides a framework of protection and advice for all persons, particularly those involved in Junior County Golf in both paid and voluntary positions.
