Membership

We are very active in all three membership categories of men’s, ladies, and juniors and all enjoy a full playing calendar of competitions and inter-club matches. We also have a very active midweek calendar.

We encourage the ‘Ready Golf’ initiative because it promotes a faster pace of play and makes the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Being a traditional members club, the club is run through an elected committee who plan both the yearly social and golf events and the long term Club strategies.

Our General Manager and his team oversee the day to day management of the Club and facilitate delivery of our numerous golf and social events.

Our culture of openness and accountability means that member representation is foremost and that all decisions are made with the long term viability of the Club at their core.

By operating with this small group of professionals and member elected volunteers, we aim to provide what the members expect at a very competitive price.

Full Membership
As a Full Playing member you would enjoy the following options:
- Advance Tee Time booking via the ClubV1 Members Hub
- Access to tee times 7 days a week
- Reduced Guest Green Fees – (Member’s guests can play at anytime subject to tee time availability)

Social Membership
Burford Golf Club offers a varied social calendar throughout the year. Social members can enjoy the following :
- All the benefits of being a member, but without the golf.
- An opportunity to make new friends through various social activities.
- Tribute Nights, Theme Nights, formal and informal functions from Black Tie to BBQ’s
- Quality food and drink at competitive prices with member discounts included.

Membership Enquiries

Membership is currently full in our Men’s Full Playing categories but you are welcome to join the waiting list.

There are options to join the Ladies section, Colt (age 17-21), Junior (age 9-16) and Social sections of the Club immediately.

CATEGORY ONE PLAYERS: A limited number of Category One golfers are able to join straight away providing they meet the criteria set by the Club. Please contact the Club for more details.

QUARTERLY GREEN FEES: We also have a Quarterly Green Fee scheme for those waiting to join which is very popular. This scheme gives players the opportunity to play regularly and maintain a handicap without the full commitment of membership. While it doesn’t include all of the benefits of our Full membership, it is a great way to get a feel for the club and is perfectly suited to those on the waiting list.
